About

Dr. Haris Moazam Sheikh is an Assistant Professor (Lecturer) in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He received his Ph.D. and Masters from University of California, Berkeley in 2022 where he was awarded Chang-Lin Tien Fellowship and a Fulbright Scholarship.

He received his Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.

His research interests are interdisciplinary, lying at the intersection of data-driven design and optimization techniques for real-world engineering problems.

His research addresses the twin difficulties of constrained design spaces and limited computational/experimental budgets for optimization.

Prizes:

  • Fulbright Scholar
  • Chang-Lin Tien Fellow (UC Berkeley)
