Dr Sergi Pallejà Cabré is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research, within the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Southampton. He is a member of the Rolls-Royce University Technology Centre in Propulsion Systems. He is working towards understanding and modelling the noise reduction of porous aerofoils and the aeroacoustics and aerodynamics of closely coupled rotors within EPSRC-funded projects. His areas of interest also include the characterisation of propeller installation noise in UAV and UAM vehicles and the suppression of tip leakage noise in ducted fans.
