About
Sue joined the Southampton Marine and Maritime Institute (SMMI) in 2024 and drives forward the activities, events, and impact of the SMMI community, providing coordination and management support, and oversees funding opportunities and studentships.
She has many years’ experience of working at the University, serving the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research for over 30 years prior to joining the SMMI. Sue has an understanding of its wide structure, having substantial experience and extensive knowledge of the University's administrative processes in an academic and research environment.
