Natalie Cox is a NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer in Geriatric Medicine and Honorary Specialist Registrar in Geriatric and General Internal Medicine.
Natalie is based in the Academic Geriatric Medicine research group and her interests are in appetite and and nutrition in later life, alongside urgent care pathways for older people.

Natalie graduated in medicine from Brighton and Sussex Medical School in 2011 then moved to the Wessex region, becoming an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow in Geriatric Medicine in 2015. She completed her PhD funded by the NIHR Southampton Biomedical Research Centre in 2022 which focussed on utilising mixed-methods to explore influences on appetite in ageing. She was appointed NIHR Clinical Lecturer in Geriatric Medicine in 2023.
