Half-sphere
We wish to simulate a half-sphere so we can see what effect the
rounded upper dome (which can be seen in figure 5.1) has on
the results; these can then be compared to ``droplet'' systems
(section 5.5) which reflect the shape in
figure 5.1.
The half-sphere nanodot we simulate here is isotropic nickel (
A/m,
J/m, J), with a diameter of
200nm. We use OOMMF to simulate this geometry with a finite
difference cubic cell of edge length 5nm.
