Active Nation sport and gym facilities

As well as all University facilities, University staff and students with a Sport membership have access to a number of extra gyms, pools and leisure centres across Southampton. This is available through our partnership with the Active Nation network.

These include:

The Quays Swimming and Diving Complex
Bitterne Leisure Centre
Chamberlayne Leisure Centre
Southampton Outdoor Sports Centre

These facilities are in addition to the wide range of excellent University facilities across our campuses and city. Active Nation manage leisure centres, gyms, pools and sports centres across the UK.

Using the facilities

You can use any of the facilities if you:

are a University student or staff member with a Sport membership
have completed a data sharing consent form

There is no extra cost to use a facility and you do not need to book in advance. Data is shared with Active Nation facilities on a weekly basis.
