Applications
Micromagnetic modelling is important to understand the behaviour of
modern hard disk media and the research of novel materials
and designs which could be incorporated into future hard disk platters.
Other emerging applications such as magnetic RAM can also benefit
greatly from the investigation of micromagnetic systems offered
through simulation techniques.
