On the left is an infrared image taken by the IRAS satellite in 1983. There is no source visible at the center. The image on the right shows a zoomed-in view captured by WISE in 2010. A bright new star appears at the center. The infrared glow of this object suggests that we have caught dust ejection in a very early stage. Infrared light has a wavelength of 5-15 times longer than the eye can see.
