Including: Lamellar Microstructure, Lamellae
If something is lamellar it is layer-like. Thus, a lamellar microstructure (of a eutectic phase) consists of thin layers of differing phases. For example a lamellar eutectic microstructure could contain alternate layers of alpha and beta. In a metallographic sample such a structure will appear "stripy".
