Using TelosB sensor nodes we tested seawall sensing together with EMU Ltd. A custom conductivity sensor was designed and built, Manchester's in-network SNEE software was installed by them and the system was tested against some normal instruments placed alongside. The idea was to measure water presence and eventually depth with something costing a few hundred pounds. Data hops from node to node until it reaches the abse station node in a building. A high gain antenna was used at the base station end.
