[Apologies for cross-posting]
Have there been any calls for Wiley-Blackwell to announce a joint
policy on open access archiving since their merger? Is there anyone
from Wiley-Blackwell on this list that can answer?
As most people will be aware, before merging with Blackwell, Wiley
did not allow archiving of the author's final accepted draft
manuscript in institutional repositories. Blackwell, on the other
hand, did. There is not yet a joint listing on Sherpa-Romeo, and I'm
not aware of any other formal announcement. If and when a new policy
is announced, clarification on what is allowed regarding newly
deposited papers that have a publication date prior to the merger
would also be needed.
