Prof. Sale is a key figure on the world stage, insofar as Open Access
is concerned. He is the author of a number of articles reporting
some of the most important analyses and comparisons among different
university strategies and policies for achieving Open Access. He is
also very active and informed concerning the growing link between
institutional repositories and research performance assessment (such
as Australia's Research Quality Framework/RQF and the UK's Research
Assessment Exercise/RAE).
