In 2004 the ePrints UK Project
(
http://www.rdn.ac.uk/projects/eprints-uk/)
will be running a series of 5 workshops around the UK that will provide
an
introduction to eprints and institutional repositories and the issues
surrounding them. These workshops will be aimed at HE/FE librarians,
information systems staff and academics and will be free to attend.
The first workshop will be held at the University of Bath on Friday 6th
February 2004. Further details of the programme are available at:
http://www.rdn.ac.uk/projects/eprints-uk/workshops/bath/
You can register for the event at:
http://www.rdn.ac.uk/projects/eprints-uk/workshops/bath/bookingform.html
Any questions on the event please contact Natasha Piper
(n.piper_at_ukoln.ac.uk).
The ePrints UK project is developing a series of national,
discipline-focused services through which the higher and further
education
community can access the collective output of e-print papers available
from
compliant Open Archive repositories, particularly those provided by UK
universities and colleges.
