  • University of Southampton Staff Club. Dining room (serving institutional hot food) two sandwich bars, and bar (serving reasonable espresso). On campus, 100 m E of Maths Building.
  • The Crown and Sceptre. The GR group local. On edge of campus, Burgess Road, 300 m NE of Maths. Follow N edge of campus along Burgess Road. Specialty: bacon and mushroom baguette.
  • The Crown. The university local. On edge of campus, Highcrown Street, 400 m S of Maths. Follow W edge of campus S, take Hawthorn Road S. Good food.
  • The Highfield. Big portions, and an alternative when the Crown is too busy (it tends to be). From the Crown, follow Highfield Lane 50 m E.
