We support teachers as they advise their students on higher education options.

Teachers’ and HE Advisors’ Conference

Whether you are a specialist subject teacher or HE advisor, this one-day conference will support your professional development, helping you provide more informed advice and guidance to your students. We will have streams of subject-focussed activity throughout the day, so you can mix and match sessions to support your own interests and development needs. You’ll have the chance to network with your peers, share best practice and talk to current students to find out what it’s really like to study at a world-leading Russell Group university.

We have now finalised the details of this year’s event, and are delighted to offer a variety of engaging and interactive sessions including flight simulators in the Engineering session, lab tours in the Biological Sciences session, video otoscopy in the Health Sciences session and practical sessions on developing excellent art portfolios. Please find below a programme of the day for information and you'll find session descriptions for via the booking link.

We are delighted to be able to offer complimentary overnight accommodation and an evening meal to those who may have further to travel* and will reimburse travel expenses for up to £100 per delegate**.

Today’s sessions were absolutely outstanding. I’ve been to many of these types of events at other universities and today outperforms all of them by a mile (or more!) … I’ve never had study opportunities explained the way you did today - the format was so well balanced to ensure we got enough of everything we need.

This was without a doubt the best education information and engagement event I have attended in nearly 17 years in education - exceptional!

Aimed at Year 12 students interested in fashion or a business career, this in-person, interactive, Taster Day will teach them how to analyse consumers, predict fashion futures, and play a part in making a fairer and more sustainable fashion industry.

Art and Design Experience Day 16 July 2024

Join us at Winchester School of Art for this hands-on day to explore our creative, art and design subjects!

In this interactive event, you'll delve into our programmes through practical sessions on one of two pathways: Fine Art, Fashion Design and Textile Design; or Graphic Communication, Creative Computing, and Games Design & Art.

School and College Visit Days 2024

Bring your year 12 students for a day on campus to find out more about what university life is all about.  At these events, students will: 

The days typically run from 10am until 2pm.  Students will need to bring a packed lunch or purchase food on campus (NB: we are a cash-free campus and our facilities can only accept card payments).
