Parliamentary Secondment

Project overview

This funded position is one of a team subject representatives based in the UK Parliaments to act as bridges between the research community and national policy-makers to enhance the quality of the evidence that informs decision-making in Parliament. Jane is Parliament’s first Thematic Research Lead on Business, Economics and Trade. This initiative is part of a major investment by UKRI to ensure that the UK’s cutting-edge research base informs the policy process, and Jane will be based in Parliament for 3 days a week between 2024-2026.
