Sirawit has worked as a full-time lecturer at the Division of English for Social Sciences and Humanities, Chulalongkorn University Language Institute in Bangkok, Thailand since 2016. He teaches English foundation courses and English for Academic Purposes to undergraduates of law, psychology, political science, and education as well as convene corresponding extracurricular activities. He also teaches and co-teaches IELTS/CU-TEP preparation courses and other language skills including basic writing and pre-sessional English.
Apart from teaching, Sirawit also proofreads/reviews tests and academic manuscripts and develop English language tests with a focus on reading skills for both public and private sectors in Thailand. At the Department of International Affairs, he served as Head of Seminar Organizing Unit during 2017-2019, involving international conferences hosted and co-hosted by Chulalongkorn University Language Institute. His research experience involves the application of critical literacies and critical reading in an action research project with first-year undergraduates to help improve their critical reading abilities.
Sirawit obtained his Master of Education in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (International Programme) from the Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University (GPAX: 4.00), Thailand. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in English (First-class Honours) from the Faculty of Humanities, Naresuan University, Thailand.
