I received my BA in physics and astronomy with a minor in archaeology from Carleton College in 2019. Seeking to combine my two disciplines, I received my MSc in archaeological science from UCL in 2020 where my dissertation focused on glass production technology, raw materials, and glass recycling in medieval Italy.
After working in an enviromental lab for two years, I decided to follow my passion for maritime archaeology and began my PhD at Southampton in 2023. I am interested in southern Adriatic cultures in the first millenium BCE, particularly how indigenous groups interacted with Greeks and eventually Romans. My research focuses on the martime cultural landscape of coastal sites in this region with an emphasis on ethnicity and identity in the ancient world.
